Why Next Step FATHER AND SON Adventures?  The question is not why, BUT WHEN?

Our sons need our help!

OVER 1,000,000 CHILDREN under the age of 18 will lose one of their parents in their daily life THIS YEAR due to divorce.  With 50% of all marriages ending in divorce the average son has a very high chance, up to 50%, that he will lose his father in this daily life due to the divorce of his parents and custody primarily being given to the mother.

  • 51% OF CHILDREN, Two years after the divorce of their parents, who are in sole mother custody homes will only see their father once or twice a year, or never.
  • 42% OF FATHERS fail to see their children at all after divorce.
  • MORE THAN ONE-HALF OF ALL CHILDREN who don’t live with their father have never been in their father’s home.

We believe by understanding the importance of the father’s role in the family, especially his sons, we can empower the father son relationship and help turn the tide on this tragic wave of the breakdown of the family and the father’s role in his children’s’ lives.  In addition, turn the tide on divorce itself because of both parents becoming more aware of this truth, “the best parent for their child is both parents.”
