Ray Leamons – Mentor-  “A few minutes a few moments can change a kid’s life for years to come.  That pay check may get you through a couple of bills here and there, but when you change a kid’s life it comes back  a hundred fold and his whole life is different from that point on.  You can’t put a value on the years ahead of that young man, now that he’s been out here and had someone to lean on, to talk to and get home from.  It’s priceless.”

Jeremiah Hay – mentor- “I grew up in a fatherless home so I never had any interaction with my father when I was growing up.  It’s something that every city needs to have there’s so many children out there that don’t have a father or their father may be home and may be living with them but he’s really not a father to them because he doesn’t have no time for them.  Someone can just spend a weekend of undivided attention with him I believe it will really change the young man’s heart and life.  It’s the most incredible thing I’ve ever hear of or been a part of, I think it’s wonderful.”

Courtney Robinson – mentored son – “If you come to the (adventure) camping trip you can have a father for 3 days and you can spend time with them.  To me it’s worth having a father for 3 days ‘cause I don’t have a father in my life.”


Jeremy Smith - mentored & son – “I would tell all the businesses to get together and join in on this incredible thing because man it is amazing the way they put it together and stuff.  It’s like family and I enjoyed it a lot.  You can feel the love, all the love.”
